Oh no… Not again!

Tuesday night at 10pm I recieved a phone call that lead to a sleepless night and a ‘me’ that wasn’t worth talking to the next day. The phone call was from XRT Power to say that the engine would not be ready for Thursday testing!!! That led to a very reluctant decision being made to abandon yet another race meeting. I did actually contemplate attempting to run the car at the race weekend but was wisely dissuaded from doing so by my parents and most others who new me as running an untested car would have probably led to even more issues!

An entry has been placed for the next meeting on August 4th and with the car due back from XRT Race Engineering this weekend the signs are that this time the car will actually make it out for a race (touch wood and everything crossed)!!!
